Yet Another Public Service Announcement

March 25th, 2007

Alright kids, listen up.

Going to concerts is cool. Wearing the tee-shirt of the band you are going to see (that you bought at the Hot Topic) is NOT cool.

Also not cool, buying a wickedly over-priced concert shirt and then putting it on, right there, over the clothes that you are already wearing. Bag it, or sling it in your waistband or something. It’s for later.

And still not cool, wearing the tee-shirts that you and your group of friends made at home using puff paint with the name of the band on them. Seriously.

In short - It’s not really ok to wear the band tee-shirt of the band that you are going to see at the concert. That shit is for the next day, so everyone knows that you went. We who are at the show already know that you like the band, or you wouldn’t be there. The only exception to this rule is if your shirt is vintage, in which case you can get away with it (actual vintage, not a knock-off, y’all).

That is all. Thank you.

Awww. I thought the puff paint girls were kinda… original in a very sad way.

    Original doesn’t always mean good.

Indeed. Puffy paint =/= cool. I mean, you get points for… puppylike dedication? And the ability to find a craft store?

But otherwise, puffy paint sort of kills off the will to rock.
