Ali: OMG. The new My Chemical Romance album comes out today.
Mik: I am going to pretend that you didn’t say that.
Ali: I LOVEDED THEM!
Mik: Ali, it’s for your own good.
Ali: You shut up! You loooove the crazy moustache guy from the Killers. You loooove his crazy cowboy pirate facial hair!
Mik: *defeated sigh* Continue.
Ali: THANK you. ANYway. It’s a rock opera! I love rock operas!
Mik: I know.
Ali: But Gerard cut all his hair off and dyed it blond.
Mik: WHAT?
Ali: He looks like he’s auditioning for Wham!
Mik: WHY would he do that?
Ali: I don’t know! He looks like Billy Corgan now! *scowls* I’m totally devoting the rest of my life to atheism. No loving god would allow the dude from the Helena video to cut off his hair and dye it BLOND. JESUS.
Mik: You were pretty much already an atheist.
Ali: Oh, shut up. OMGOMGOMG! DUDE IN A BEAR SUIT!
Mik: What?
Ali: DUDE IN A BEAR SUIT! Hanging out on the side of the road!
Mik: Is he in front of a Halloween store?
Ali: Oh. Yes.
Mik: Well there you go.
Ali: *sad* I wish he was just hanging out in front of the Wawa. That would be better.
Mik: It totally would.

I love MCR! And yes, some small part of me recognizes that this is not a trait that receives much respect by others, but dammit, I don’t care!
Although I don’t have their new album yet. Yet. And yes, Gerard cutting/dying his hair platinum blond is a shame.
