Sugar and Spite

New comic is up! Better late than never. However, I have a bit of a dilemma. The comic needs a name. Ali really likes “A New Hopening,” and I have posted it as such. I don’t know… I’m not too keen on it. However I am not feeling very cleverish tonight. I am still too busy being tired. My brain is also filled with excitement about the release of the original, Han-shoots-first, Luke-doesn’t-scream-like-a-girl, Ewok-ho-down-celebration Star Wars on DVD. It’s like a piece of my childhood preserved, because there is no way my VHS tapes were going to make it much longer. It is the time that I make my peace with George Lucas. Grievances are not forgiven, nor forgotten. We shall never speak again. But I go with peace, in that my children might know a Star Wars that is not The Stupid Version.

Ahem. So back to that name issue. In honor of this momentous occasion and my brain being sleepy, how about a little contest? Come up with your best suggestion for a new name for this week’s comic. Leave it in the comments here. If we like yours the best, then we’ll send you a free wee Sugar and Spite magnet! These are handmade by Ali and me and not available in the store. So don’t be shy!
