Ok, here’s the deal. We like pie, a lot. In fact, you could say that I am, in particular, quite obsessed with pie as food, art, and ideology. I freaking love pie. Many moons ago, we were having this conversation about pie. We theorized that all cool people probably love pie, and people who don’t likely suck. We proposed that we should send postcards to celebrities and folk who we think are pretty cool, asking them the simple question…”Do you like pie?” And such was the birth of The Pie Project.
Back in July, we initiated our Very Scientific Experiment in which we have mailed letters with self-addressed, stamped postcards to a variety of people who we think are pretty damned cool.
Postcards (and other sundries) that are received back will turn up in the comic, eventually, as part of Piratical Pie’s Scrapbook. Eventually I’ll compile them all together into… something.
Pie Forever! (Actually that’s gross, because it would be moldy. But “Pie In My Belly!” doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it?)

I’ll put in my vote for apple, peach, lemon meringue, key lime, cherry, and… Hell, let’s not kid ourselves. I will eat damn near anything that falls under the category of “dessert”.
