Who Wants To Be A Superhero?
July 30th, 2006This show is nuts. Ryan told me about it and I just sort of rolled my eyes, but we finally got around to watching it today. All the contestants are SO. Serious. I don’t know how Stan Lee can keep a straight face. But he does, and he’s just ordering them around like he’s God. Which, I guess he is.
Seriously, words cannot even describe the insanity. The level of geekdom is so high that even I am uncomfortble, but I can’t tear my eyes away.
I’m routing for Fat Momma. If I were a superhero, I’d have snacks on my utility belt, too.
It’s on the Sci-Fi channel, and according to my TiVo, will also be airing on USA. So you have no excuse.

OMG! I saw this last night. These people really take this seriously. One girl said it “made her life” and that she felt like she could truly throw fire balls! They were talking to Stan Lee through a mirror b/c they have not accumulated enough super powers to have the privlege of seeing him face to face. Hilarious. *still giggling*

I LOVE Major Victory. I love Fat Momma too, but Major Victory is just SO into it.

I liked Fat Momma until she started getting all bitchy and self righteous with other contestsnts. Major V is the total shiznicky though. The guy just totally cracks me up with his ‘Supercheese’.

Yeah, it’s too bad about Fat Momma. I really hope Major Victory takes the whole thing. And if her does, I am SO buying his comic.
